We are seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. This is a full-time position; the teacher selected for this role will be responsible for educating a group of bright kindergarten students, and helping them build a lifetime love of learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the kindergarten curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and development
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment
  • Assess students' progress through various methods including standardized testing and observation
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success
  • Incorporate Montessori principles into teaching practices
  • Provide physical education opportunities for students
Skills

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong writing skills for creating lesson plans, reports, and communication with parents
  • Experience or knowledge of Play-based education principles
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain a structured learning environment
  • Understanding of education administration practices to support school policies and procedures
  • Ability to educate young children effectively through engaging teaching methods
  • Proficiency in developing comprehensive lesson plans tailored to elementary curriculum requirements
  • Attention to detail for proofreading educational materials and student assessments

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices.
  • Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
  • Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Have a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Compensation: $680.00 - $760.00 per week
